On opening it, she straight away wanted to read the book and do the activities and was immediately engaged in the story of the precious pearl. Particularly the activity that involved the biscuits! Good way of hooking them in, providing biscuits! Then the beading was great for hand/eye coordination which she struggles with sometimes. And then we talked about what the story meant and what was most precious to her and me.
We really enjoyed the variety in our Treasure Box.
It's a great way to get children engaged with the stories and to get them to sit down and do some activities together!
Matilda learned about subjects she wouldn't normally have learned about. In fact we both did. Thank you, Treasure Box People...
Loving the onesie!
